These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases, deliveries, and use of products supplied by One Dose Australia Pty Ltd (“One Dose”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By purchasing from One Dose, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the rights and responsibilities outlined under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. About One Dose

1.1 One Dose operates as an online-only pool chemical supplier, delivering products directly to customers across our service areas (currently the Gold Coast).
1.2 Products are sold by One Dose Australia Pty Ltd ACN 684 878 993, and may also be managed or fulfilled by related entities including trusts and trustee companies associated with the One Dose business structure.

2. Use of Products

2.1 All products supplied by One Dose, including pool chemicals and water treatment products, are intended solely for domestic swimming pool maintenance.
2.2 Customers must read and follow all safety directions, warnings, instructions, and hazard information provided on packaging, labels, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and on our website.
2.3 Products must not be ingested, mixed irresponsibly, or handled in a way inconsistent with the instructions.

3. Ordering & Payment

3.1 Orders are placed through our online store at onedoseaustralia.com.
3.2 Prices are displayed in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
3.3 Payment must be made at checkout via approved payment methods.
3.4 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where: a product is unavailable or incorrectly listed, payment issues occur, we suspect misuse or unsafe application.

4. Delivery & Transfer of Risk

4.1 Delivery is available to eligible postcodes within our operational areas.
4.2 Once delivery is made to the address provided by the customer — including unattended delivery where authorised — all risk transfers to the customer.
4.3 One Dose is not liable for loss, damage, theft, deterioration, or misuse occurring after delivery.
4.4 Customers must ensure that chemicals are collected promptly from the delivery location and stored safely.

5. Safe Storage & Use of Chemicals

5.1 After delivery, the customer is solely responsible for the safe handling, storage, and use of all chemicals.
5.2 Products must be kept securely stored out of reach of children, pets, and unauthorised persons.
5.3 One Dose is not liable for any injury, illness, poisoning, burns, exposure, or property damage resulting from: improper storage, unsafe handling, misuse or mixing of chemicals, access by children or unintended persons, failure to follow instructions, environmental exposure (heat, moisture, contamination).

6. Limitation of Liability

Subject to the Australian Consumer Law:
6.1 One Dose, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, related entities, trusts, and trustee companies exclude all liability for any injury, loss, harm, damage, or claim arising from:
improper or unauthorised product use, accidental contact, ingestion, or inhalation, storage conditions outside our control after delivery, customer negligence or failure to comply with safety instructions, modification, transfer, or repackaging of products, reliance on incorrect or incomplete customer-provided water test results.
6.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Dose’s liability is limited to: replacement of the goods, repair of the goods, or refund of the amount paid, as required under the ACL.
6.3 One Dose is not liable for any: consequential loss, indirect loss, property damage after delivery, loss of profit, time, or enjoyment, water or pool-related issues caused by failure to follow dosing instructions.

7. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Rights

7.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the rights and remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.
7.2 Customers are entitled to a remedy if products are faulty, unsafe, or not as described.
7.3 ACL guarantees do not apply to misuse, incorrect storage, or damage occurring after delivery.

8. Returns & Refunds

8.1 Due to the nature of chemical goods, returns cannot be accepted where: products have been opened, used, damaged, or improperly stored, safety seals or packaging have been compromised, products were purchased in error.
8.2 Returns may be accepted where required under the ACL for major faults or defects.
8.3 Customers must contact One Dose within a reasonable timeframe to initiate an ACL claim.

9. Indemnity

9.1 The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless One Dose Australia Pty Ltd, including its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, related trusts, and trustee companies from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or liabilities arising from: misuse or unsafe handling of products, injury to any person after delivery, property damage after delivery, failure to safely store chemicals, breach of these Terms, failure to follow instructions or SDS documentation.

10. Technical Advice Disclaimer

10.1 Any dosage recommendation, treatment advice, or result generated through the “Scan Me, Dip Me, Match Me” system is based solely on customer-provided information.
10.2 One Dose does not guarantee water clarity or performance outcomes where: incorrect water test results were entered, additional chemicals were used independently, the pool requires professional inspection or repair.

11. Privacy & Data Use

11.1 Customer data is collected for order fulfilment, water testing recommendations, and service improvement.
11.2 Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
11.3 We do not sell or disclose personal information to unrelated third parties except where required for delivery or legal compliance.

12. Changes to Terms

12.1 One Dose may update these Terms at any time.
12.2 Continued use of the website or purchase of products constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
13.2 Any disputes will be resolved in Queensland courts or tribunals where applicable under ACL.

14. Acceptance of Terms

14.1. By placing an order with One Dose, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including the liability exclusions, indemnity, and transfer of risk clauses outlined above.
